 A local from Hillhead and law graduate of the university, Hardeep is a learned – and likeable – guy. As a dedicated and fun-loving student he was involved with the student media, theatre, debating and plenty of banter in the unions.
He went on to work for the BBC and now is known for comedy, making documentaries and appearing on programmes like Question Time and Newsnight. His weekly column in the Scotland on Sunday is a witty commentary on life and politics, with insights on everything from opposing the Iraq War to the difficulties of recycling.
A vote for Hardeep is a vote for a Rector who knows Glasgow, will work tirelessly for its students and has the public profile to make a difference on our behalf.
